Got my dSLR eventually

Ive been talking and thinking about this getting one for a long time now. (Bok you might remember). My brother is currently in the US of A so I asked him to price it for me. €680 for the camera and double lens kit, he called me yesterday while in the shop and I took a deep breadth and said "buy it now!". Have to say I dont know a whole lot about photography but im looking forward to getting into it. TBH I havent bought any gadgets since I started working (over two years ago now!) and Ive been itchin like mad to get something. so anyway, Ive read all the reviews, it seems to stack up well against the competition, only thing being the lens' might be a bit more expensive. But with the built in Image Stabilisation, it means I dont have to shell out in IS for every Lens I buy from now on.

February and haven't looked back. Beware that it will soon become a money pit! So many things you can buy for it...

    What lenses come with it?

  4. Yeah same here - I bought my D50 and a Sigma 70-300 lens in B&H in New York and saved a fortune on it.

  6. Did You boys buy any filters yet. I havent had a chance to "get out" with it yet, with the darkness in the evenings and the miserable weather at the weekends. Still the Pics ive taken indoor are unbelieveable quality. Printed a few off at the weekend and they are deadly, (mostly pics of the nipper)

  7. Havent bothered with filters yet apart from a UV one which is a must to protect your lenses. Be carefull changing the lenses, i.e. dont do it too regularly. Those sensors are dust grabbers!
